Burrendong Dam

Here we go, Lake Burrendong as it is today.  That's much better than the miserable 25% full puddle of a few years ago.

We also saw another town.  Visit Mumbil at 100 Towns.

  1. Again, very lush and the dam is so full.

My memories of Lake Burrendong are from the late eighties, when I went to the Sport & Rec camp with my primary school. That was quite an adventure for a city kid!

  2. Very pretty. I love dams or lakes so calming and picturesque. Thanks for getting rid of WV many others are complaining about it too.

We were having a coffee at the bakery and I noticed a sign on a hotel saying it was a Cobb and Co coach stop.  That got me wondering if there was a hidden Royal Hotel in the town.  A quick google revealed not that hotel but this derelict one as the former Royal.
